Long overdue...

I know that this post is extremely delayed. I've been busy with school and of course life but Nyn8v, I want to keep you on the A-list. I would never want to hurt your reputation. Also I know some of my regular readers are very busy with work and tax season so hopefully this blog will provide a minute of relief for you. I had a request to talk about Howard Stern and the CBS controversy so here I go...
CBS is suing Howard Stern for plugging Sirius radio his last months on CBS radio and benefiting financially from it. They said that he shouldn't have been allowed to talk about his new job at his old one. Stern said that he cleared his intentions about what he would be discussing with CBS top radio executive Joel Hollander. I think that CBS shouldn't expect anything from Howard Stern. He's very intense and speaks his mind, that his thing so why should now he not be able to. They were censoring him enough that he had to move so why censor him anymore. He deserves to be in an environment where he can speak his mind and now he can finally do that. It's a shame that CBS is being obnoxious about it. They should instead be upset that they got rid of such a great radio personality.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes should be having their baby any day now. Soon there will be a new person that Tom can brainwash, at least it will be easier because it's his own child. Speaking of Katie Holmes, I saw Thank you for Smoking last night and I loved it. Aaron Eckhart was pure genius and I thought it was hysterical. Very dark humor and heavy on sarcasm which I love. Katie Holmes wasn't that bad because she wasn't in it very much but I'm sure that someone better could have done the same role.
There have been rumors circulating for the past couple days that Jessica Simpson wants to adopt...a child. If someone lets her adopt a child they should be arrested. She wouldn't know the difference between tuna and baby food and would probably put vodka in the baby's bottle thinking it was water. If any adoption agencies are reading this, please don't let this woman adopt a child, please.
I have to just throw this in because I think it's so funny but K-fed or Kevin Federline for those of you who don't has released his album title and drumroll please the name is...Playing with Fire. Ya, I hope you're laughing too. I'll try and update sooner this time but keep checking back and leave me comments!

Welcome back E-Girl! OK, here goes, vis-a-vis Howard Stern... apparently, if there is a clause in his contract with Sirius that stipulates that he gets an extra bonus at the end of the first year for Sirius' going over a certain amount of subscribers, then, it would mean that he benefits financially from promoting Sirius while under contract with CBS. And I've got all this from another source, so I'm not passing judgement, just stating (what I've been told) are the facts. I'm never certain of my sources, though. I live in a shady world full of shady characters and any one of them could be full of you-know-what. Anyways, Howard is Howard, don't you think? When he's good he's very good and when he's bad, he really stinks.
But, all that said, it's so good to have you back, E-Girl! Now, I can have something to discuss at the dinner party I am attending tonight, K-Fed, seriously, "Playing With Fire"? What is he thinking? That's a good one! Did I hear that he's impregnated another woman??
And I will tell everyone I know.... "I got my inside scoop from......E-Girl!"

I don't know what's more overdue....your blog entry or Baby Tomkat....your posting is certainly more welcome, in my world at least. Thank you for indulging me on the Howard Stern/CBS thing....and, oh yeah, nyn8v...who is your source, Deep Bloat?....perhaps someone's bike shorts are a little too tight!

So big daddy, sources tell me there is a reason your name begins with BIG. And in reference to my bike shorts being too tight, that is totally incorrect. My voice has ALWAYS been this high. Don't fan the fires of BIG BLOAT buddy because my sources also say that you sometimes refer to yourself as a Buckeye which sounds like a gay pirate to me; not that there's anything wrong with that.

ck: Arrrrr, shiver me timbers....you found out my secret...you'll walk the plank for that....I know you're fond of wood!!

bd, my Deep Bloat sources tell me that you're supposedly buried in work. So how do you find the time for blogging? Also, sources tell me that the lavender pirate outfit you wear for special occasions is a favorite around the office. And remember, wood is good.

OK, enough with this Big Daddy guy. My thoughts on Howard are that although he may not have done anything legally wrong, morally (like he or I have any) and ethically (those too) he was way out of line. He had CBS held hostage by the fact that if they told him to stop talking about his upcoming move, he would have ignored them and they would have threatened to fire him and they in turn would lose big revenue and still have to pay him. I love Howard as much as the next guy, but it's annoying when he promotes what a 'company guy' he is, and then thumbs his nose at the very same company where he rose to stardom in the last 20 years. Additionally, he constantly would speak that it 'wasn't the station's fault' that they were being forced to censor and change his show, so why the constant rant against the station and not just the FCC? I'm one of the few people who is both a Howard fan AND believe there is probably some merit to the law suit, although winning it is probably impossible and as a reslut it has only brought more attention to Sirius and Howard. Remember, Howard is essentially an A-hole and just because he says the lawsuit is frivolous doesn't mean it's entirely true.

ck: Howard is a genius, you are not. Howard makes me laugh, you do not. Howard can do no wrong, you can do no right. I think you not only have your head up your ass but your bicycle seat, as well.
