So the Grammy's happened at that awards show should just really not happen anymore. I mean if Mariah Carey is winning Grammy's still then come on now, lets be serious. This girl can't even buy a dress that looks like it could partially cover her. And she's been capitalizing on her ability to carry that one high obnoxious note for like 10 years. It's enough. She walked away with three Grammy's including Best R&B vocal, Best R&B album and Best R&B song for We Belong Together. That is way to many Grammys for her to win. Also U2 might be talented and everything but they are to old to be winning the this many as well. Let's give a shout-out to Kanye fromnow on! Oprah is zooming into satellite radio, another person who really doesn't need the press or recognition. She has way to much money and come on we really don't need to hear her anymore than we already do. OK so my blog is so not cooperating right now so I'm going to stop for now and post later. Please if you read this, comment I want to know who has been reading just don't be a douche like some other people who read this. Thanks!

So U2 is too old to win a Grammy? Are you trying to say that older acts should step aside and let younger ones have a crack at it? If so, I disagree. I think awards should be based on merit and talent, regardless of age or experience. So let the best acts prevail. Which as you can see, is plainly not the case. I'm ashamed I saw any of the show. I'm swearing off all awards shows. I'll just have to rely on your blog to hear about them. Never again, honey...never again!
Hey there E!-girl, you've made me stop and think about how I feel about the awards shows. Don't you think the show has outgrown itself? Actually, all of them have. They do nothing except stroke the egos of the already-inflated. What needs to be promoted, (in my far from arbitrary or biased opinion, of course) are the incredibly talented newcomers to the entertainment industry. Or those who haven't even gotten to the point of being called a newcomer. I so agree with you...Mariah, please buy something in your size. I want to see what she would look like as a normal person. And Madonna, I love her talent, I always have...but the show was just so that everyone can see that she looks spectacular! So, in closing, perhaps we, the viewing-public should lobby for a show that is exactly what it says it is, just a viewing of each celebrity. Have them stand there on stage and we will all look at each one of them and critique away, and then email-in our opinions. What do you think, E!-girl? They should have asked you to do a satellite radio show instead of Oprah, I'll bet you would have settled for a measly half of what they are paying her.
