Ok, so yesterday I wrote a riveting piece on the merging of two networks but instead of publishing it deleted so I'm trying this one more time. Yesterday it was announced that UPN and the WB would be obsolete by fall 2006 and form a new network by the name of CW. Both networks currently operate under CBS so the C comes from CBS and the W comes from WB. Both networks have been struggling for a long time so hopefully the combination will make the new network more successful. The new network will take shows from the current network lineups, two shows that definetly will make the cut are Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars. Since UPN is typically known as a "black" network Veronica Mars seems to have not really fit in with that mold. It has defied the UPN stereotypes and although it doesn't have the best rating is actually a clever, very well written show and I'm not just saying that because I intern there. Hopefully this new network will breath life into the show and bring up the ratings. Veronica is currently on Wednesdays at 9 on UPN so everyone should tune in. Check back soon!

Ok, In a word, B-O-R-I-N-G!! Who cares if merging the 2 networks will cause people to get laid off? Famlies to go hungry. Anyway, if you really want to work for E! one day, give us dirt, baby...like, what really happened to Chris Penn?? Was it an OD?

I think the merging of the networks is a conspiracy from the White House so that eventually we will all have to watch what the President does. 3 Stooges reruns and cartoons with Bill O'Reilly as the host.
